This hand dyed sock yarn is commercially spun. It is a 75%merino / 25% nylon blend. Best knitted on needle sizes 0-2. I am using 2's for the leg and find it to be a soft yet sturdy fabric. I will step down to a #1 for the sole, giving it a bit more density. This is a lovely soft sock yarn with great stitch definition. Machine or hand wash.
