What a difference a day makes. Yesterday it could have been spring, impossibly warm and impossible to believe that winter and the holidays were only weeks away. This morning, when the winds stopped, the skies cleared, and the temps refused to climb out of the 30s, it started to sink in.

The cats have known all along.

The wintry arctic cold certainly did sink in yesterday! The wind in the morning was something else too. Cats are so wise.

See! You should be listening to the cats. They always know.

It amazes me all over again each winter when it gets cold: suddenly even the most aloof cat is your best buddy. Warmth is EVERYTHING!

Finally starting to feel like December!
When my kitty curls up next to the woodstove, it is always a sign that the barometer is falling ;-)
